Rockies Fans

I read the article in the Denver post by the Denver post entitled Rockies fans accused of jumping on police car. It was about 3 men who jumped on a police car and did about 3500 dollars worth in damages. This made me feel that sports are too much of some people’s lives and they need to step back and look at what they are doing because of their team doing something amazing. Their team does something good and productive and they feel the need to go out and destroy something. It doesn’t make any sense and I don’t think that this would make any sense to any one else. The men could go to jail for six years of convicted witch I think is a long time for something like this but they shouldn’t get off for free. I think that instead of having them go to jail they should have community service, fines, and be put on probation.

it is humanly impossible for sports to be too important in someones life. I play baseball and i would do anything for the sport

I would have to agree with Pye. I am a sports fanatic, and that might just be me, but if the Rockies won the World Series i was going to shave my head. Some people are way to into sports, and I actually respect that. It shows a love for the game. I don't know what that shows about how people like me are obsessed, but when the Rockies make the WS, some crazy things should go on in my mind. I love sports and respect people who love it, I am not saying anything against this blog, Matt, just that my personal views and love of sports doesn't agree with yours. You don't love sports. I do. Different opinions.
